How the fidelity audit works
Every image is checked against the real garment.
AI image models change products. They add a button, redraw a print, shift a color, shorten a sleeve. Statixx runs an automated fidelity audit on every image it generates, compares it against your actual product references, regenerates anything that fails, and has a person review what passes. The full report is visible for every image.
What is a fidelity audit?
A fidelity audit is a check that a generated product image shows the product accurately. In Statixx, a vision model compares each new image against the garment’s reference photos and its enriched product data, one check at a time, and records a result for each. A typical image runs through dozens of checks. The image in our walkthrough film passed 51.
Why do AI product photos need one?
Image models are built to make a convincing picture, not a correct one. A generated photo can look flawless and still show a product you do not sell: the wrong number of buttons, a print that only resembles yours, a color one shade off. On a product page, that is a returns problem and a trust problem. Most AI photography tools leave the checking to you, one image at a time. Statixx does it on every image before you see it.
What does Statixx check?
Closures and hardware
Buttons, zips, snaps, and buckles: whether they are there, how many, and where they sit.
Prints and patterns
The motif, its scale, and its placement, compared against the real print instead of an invented look-alike.
Exact color
The garment’s color against the product’s own references, so a colorway does not drift toward its neighbor.
Construction
Seams, necklines, collars, cuffs, sleeve shape and length, hem length, and silhouette.
Every garment in a look
Layered and multi-garment outfits are audited one garment at a time, on every angle of the spread.
The model
The same face, build, and body descriptors as the brand’s roster model, plus anatomy: hands, limbs, posture.
The scene and brand rules
Setting, light, and each brand’s own standing rules, such as how a fabric should read or what must never appear.
Technical quality
Letterboxing, artifacts, duplicated elements, cutoffs, and, where an image carries text, legibility and safe zones.
What happens when an image fails?
It does not reach you. A failed image regenerates automatically, and the new attempt is audited from scratch. Every retry is recorded. Only images that pass every check move on to human review.
What does the Fidelity Report show?
Every generated image has a Fidelity Report in the Statixx app listing each check, its result, and every retry it took to get there. It is the difference between a vendor saying the product is accurate and being able to see how it was checked.
Is the audit perfect?
No automated check is, and we do not pretend otherwise. The audit is a vision model, and vision models miss things. That is why a person reviews every image that passes, and why feedback works the way it does: when you flag a mistake, it becomes a permanent rule in your brand’s pipeline, checked on every image after it. The audit gets stricter about your products the longer you use it.
Does the audit cover logos?
Logos skip the problem entirely. Statixx never asks an image model to draw your logo. Your actual logo file is composited onto the finished image, so the mark that ships is pixel-identical to the file you provided.
